Continuing Education

School of Christian Ministry
Continuing education at BTSR is managed by our School of Christian Ministry. The School of Christian Ministry offers non-credit theological education opportunities for laity and ministers. Through various SCM programs we meet you where your needs are with timely and relevant courses, events, and resources.
Congregational Leadership Certificate

Online Courses in Our Certificate Program
Our Congregational Leadership Certificate Program provides theological education and practical ministry skills and strategies in several specialized ministry areas. All courses are delivered online. If you are sensing a call to ministry or need focused study in a particular ministry area, the certificate program is a great place to start.

Ministry concentrations:

  • Developing Gift-Based Ministry in the Church
  • Preschool/Children’s Ministry
  • Youth Ministry
  • Small Group Leadership
  • Music and Worship Leadership
  • Pastoral Ministry Leadership

To earn the certificate, participants complete four core courses and three ministry concentration courses. All certificate program courses are online and thereby enable learners to participate according to the needs of their individual schedules.
