Every student who enrolls at BTSR, regardless of student status, is a member of the Student Government Association. The SGA's purpose is threefold: to promote the general welfare of students; to determine the process for involvement of students in governance of student affairs; and to provide the structure for representing and giving a voice to students in matters affecting the seminary community. The work of the SGA is carried out by the Student Council, which is made up of elected officers, representatives and committee chairpersons, and through two primary SGA committees, the Social Committee and the Global and Local Missions Committee. Funding is provided through the student activity fee.
