Library

 

The William Smith Morton Library, completed in 1996, houses more than 300,000 volumes and receives more than 1300 periodicals and scholarly journals.

The library is one of the nation's finest resources for studies in theology, Bible, and church history. The primary mission of the Library is to support instruction at the three institutions that comprise the Richmond Theological Consortium. These are the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, and Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education.  

 

Student Services

 

The Director of Student Life provides a number of services to members of the seminary community.

 

Student Government Association

 

The SGA promotes the general welfare of students; determines the process for involvement of students in the governance of student affairs; and provides the structure for representing and giving a voice to students in matters affecting the seminary community.

 

Placement Opportunities

 

The BTSR Placement Services works to link students and spouses with locating full or part-time ministry placements and supports churches in their efforts to fill ministerial staff positions. Visit this site to share your staff needs with us.
