Dr. Galindo is a popular seminar and workshop leader in the areas of education and instruction and in Bowen systems theory as applied to parenting, congregational life, and leadership development. He has presented for a widely diverse audience, from national denominational groups to local judicatories, public and private school systems, corporations and businesses. Professor Galindo is the author of numerous articles in magazines and journals, and of nine books, including The Hidden Lives of Congregations, Let Us Pray, The Craft of Christian Teaching, and 10 Best Parenting Ways to Ruin Your Child. Prior to joining the BTSR faculty in 1999, Professor Galindo served as Pastoral Associate for Christian Education at Vienna Baptist Church, Vienna, Virginia. He also has been a hospice chaplain and a school principal, as well as adjunctive professor for a number of colleges and seminaries. Dr. Galindo also serves on the faculty of the Leadership in Ministry Workshops, is a certified literacy tutor and offers individual spiritual direction.
