Interim Dean Harton has previously served as minister of education in a variety of churches, taught at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary for twelve years, spent twelve years on the staff of the Virginia Baptist Resource Center, and was a grant coordinator for Nation CBF before joining the BTSR staff.
