M.Div – Christian Education Formation
The Master of Divinity with a concentration in Christian Education Formation equips students to become effective pastoral educators in congregations. The degree has a congregational focus; yet it is grounded in theology and the field of education. Graduates are well rounded in their understanding and practice of holistic educational ministry along with faith and spiritual formation in the local church. Students are challenged to connect theory to practice through critical reflection on both their own personal development and the practice of educational ministry.
The Master of Divinity with a concentration in Christian Education Formation requires 72 core hours, in addition to nine hours of concentrated electives, for a total of 81 hours.
