As a student in the M.Div program, you may choose to complete a recognized concentration in one of these areas:

With a congregational focus, this concentration prepares ministers to excel in biblical preaching and teaching by developing a faith that is formed by a profound relationship with scripture.

This concentration has a congregational focus, yet it is grounded in theology and the field of education. Students are challenged to connect theory to practice through critical reflection on both their own personal development and the practice of educational ministry.

In partnership with the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding (CJP) at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA, this concentration is designed to help meet the ethos and values of the seminary in issues of restorative justice, peacebuilding, and conflict transformation.

This concentration equips an M.Div student to serve a local congregation as a pastoral associate who focuses on the needs of youth and their families.
