BTSR Ambassadors

The BTSR Ambassadors are a group of students dedicated to helping the seminary by acting as representatives of the seminary and interacting with prospective students, current students, faculty and staff, trustees, donors and alumni at various times throughout the year.

You may have met a BTSR Ambassador while you visited our campus, or when you came to our booth at a conference. You are welcome to contact them for further conversation about the "life of a BTSR student!" Rosemary Blakenship
M.Div. Student- 3rd Year
  • I am a retired Librarian.
  • I have been married for 36 years and have no children.
  • I am a commuting student from Fredericksburg.

M.Div. Student- 3rd year
  • I grew up in Virginia.
  • I am the oldest of three, this is a big part of my personality.

  • My calling is to participate in Christian Education.
  • I returned back to school after 30 years.
  • I love interior painting and decor.

Caleb Foust
M.Div. Student- 2nd Year
  • I graduated from Samford University with a major in Religion and studied in the areas of Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy and History.
  • I have lived in 8 different states because I am a PK.
  • I am the first of my siblings to move on to Masters level work.

  • I am interested in Military Chaplaincy.

  • I have degrees in Engineering and Teaching.
Kendall Ratliffe
M.Div. Student- 3rd Year

  • I like to connect with atheists, outsiders, and foreigners.
  • I enjoy public speaking and developing my skills in preaching as a ministry.
  • BTSR has been formative for me. In the course of my study, I transferred from the dual degree program to straight M.Div.

  •  I am a graduate of Carson Newman University
  • I have a heart for missions and youth ministry

Darius Webster

  • I am a graduate of Norfolk State University
  • I was previously a business owner, I sold my construction company before beginning school.
  • I just welcomed my first son into the world!
