   Dr. Mike Queen, Pastor at FBC Wilmington, NC for twenty-three years, is a native of Huntington, WV and a graduate of Wake Forest University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary from which he holds both the M.Div. and D. Min. Prior to seminary, Mike worked in the supermarket industry for ten years. Before going to Wilmington, he served as Associate Pastor for five years at FBC Greensboro, NC. He is on the board of trustees at Wake Forest University. He and his wife Bobbie have two children and four grandchildren.

Dr. Jim Everette, Associate Pastor at FBC Wilmington, NC for nineteen years, is a native of Fayetteville, NC and a graduate of both UNC-Pembroke and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div.). Jim previously served several years at FBC in Drexel, NC. He has served on the board of the North Carolina Baptist Children’s Homes as well numerous local ministry boards in Wilmington. He also holds the D. Min. degree from BTSR. Jim and his wife Lisa have two children.
 
 

  Rev. Jayne Davis, Minister of Spiritual Formation at FBC Wilmington, NC for eight years, is a native of New York City and a graduate of Columbia University. Before assuming duties at the church, she served as the Executive Director of Good Shepherd Ministries and also Executive Director of the New Hanover County Partnership for Children (Smart Start) in Wilmington. Jayne holds an M.Div. from Campbell University Divinity School. She and husband Wes have four children. 



The Lawrence Hoover lectures are free and open to the public.
