’95 Si Khia from Myanmar (M. Div.) teaches at the Myanmar Institute of Theology in Myanmar. His current position is Professor of Pastoral Studies and Coordinator of Doctor of Ministry Program. He is also serving as a Senior Pastor at a local Baptist Church in Yangon City.

’95 Bill and Mary Dell Sigler (M.Div.) live in Kilmarnock, Virginia. After serving as co-pastors for 11 ½ years, Bill is now pastor of Saluda Baptist Church and Mary Dell is following her dream as Spiritual Care/Bereavement coordinator for the Tappahannock office of Hospice of Virginia. Bill was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma, a very rare cancer in September of 2008. He continues to work at his church and receives chemotherapy several times a month at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

’00 Jon Barnes (M. Div.) has been living and working in South Africa with the United Church of Christ and Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) since 2002. In March 2010, he completed a Ph.D in missiology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. He and his wife Dawn, along with their children Khaya and Aly, will be moving to Maputo, Mozambique at the end of the year to continue working for the Disciples of Christ overseas ministries.

’03 Jenny Frazier Call and John Call ('04) live in Salem, Virginia with their two kids, a son, Brady (3 1/2) and a daughter, Maryn (1 1/2). Jenny has ministered at HopeTree Family Services (aka Virginia Baptist Children's Home) for the past 6 years and serves as the Director of Christian Education/chaplain. John has been employed at Roanoke League of Therapists for the past year after previously serving in a church as Associate Pastor and Minister to Youth and Children. He is now a Lead Therapist doing in-home family counseling.

’07 Mandy England Cole (M. Div.) is Associate Pastor for Alliance-affiliated Sardis Baptist Church in Charlotte, N.C.

’07 Rev. Lindsay C. Comstock (M. Div.) is now an Affiliate Field Personnel with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship serving as Advocate for Women and Children in Southeast Asia with a specialized focus on Human Trafficking Awareness and Education. She recently began D. Min studies at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Kentucky.

’07 Renee Kenley Purtlebaugh (M. Div.) was ordained on January 17, 2010, at Highland Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, where she serves as minister of children and families.

’08 Stephanie Downey (M. Div.) lives in Raleigh, NC and works for Cokesbury Bookstore. She is the Key Accounts Manager and travels to churches within the Raleigh area.

’09 Lauren Deer (M. Div.) is the Associate Pastor of Children and Youth of First Baptist Church in Wallace, NC. She has been there since December 2009.
