Course Information
Three courses offered
Faith Development (SCM 5110)
Examine stages of faith development. Learn how to develop small groups that meet the faith needs of individuals in various stages of the spiritual journey. Dates: January 14 – February 10, 2008
Small Group Dynamics (SCM 5120)
Enhance your understanding of the dynamics at work within small groups: formation, cohesion, conflict, group think, power, roles, goals, and stages of group development. Learn how to create group environments conducive to spiritual development. Dates: February 25 – March 22, 2008
Teaching the Small Group Study (SCM 5130)
Explore various techniques and approaches to teaching small groups. Examine learning issues specific to adults. Dates: April 7 – May 4, 2008
Time & Location: The online course materials and discussion forums are Internet-based. This means that you can access them anytime, from anywhere.
Cost: $150 per course (Scholarships are available to cover 50% of tuition fees.)
